Federico holds a BS in Biology and a MFA in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University. He has documented scientific expeditions in Ecuador, Perú, Mozambique and throughout Colombia. Federico’s work has been showcased by National Geographic, Fusion, The Field Museum and the Humboldt Institute in Colombia.
Alejandro Bernal is a documentary filmmaker whose work as a director and cinematographer encompasses both independent projects as well as television production. He received a B.A. in Cinema and Television at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and also a Master of Arts from both the Universitat Autonoma in Barcelona and the Universität der Künste in Berlin.
Juan Carlos Isaza
Juan Carlos studied Marketing and Advertisement in Colombia and then specialized in film Direction at the New York Film Academy. He has directed and shot several documentaries for reknowned NGOs and his latest project is an 8-part TV series about animal conservation heroes.
Juan Carlos Tavera
After finishing his Law degree from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Juan Carlos got involved with the film industry working at Proimagenes, Colombia’s office to develop and promote the country’s film industry. He is currently the CEO and Executive Producer of Trópico Media.
Formed in journalism at Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá, Sofia’s work focuses on producing documentaries for national and international TV networks. She has extensive experience in research and field production, working in South America, Africa and the United States.
Miguel is a lawyer and a journalist from the Universidad de Los Andes, specializing in telecommunications, technology, and entertainment law. He currently works for Semana magazine and contributes to other outlets. He is an avid researcher and field producer.
